The Ritual
- At moonrise, sit in a dimly lit room with only the candle flame for light.
- Gaze into the mirror for three minutes without looking away. Let whatever emotions arise simply exist.
- Speak to your reflection: "I see what I have hidden. I release what no longer serves me. I reclaim the power I gave away."
- Dip your fingers in the salt water and touch your forehead, heart, and navel — the three centers of intuition, emotion, and will.
- Write down what you are releasing on paper. Fold it away from you three times. Place it under the bowl of water overnight.
- In the morning, pour the water into the earth. The release is complete.
